this is the first of the 8-10 neckpieces i will be making..
i am having strange and mixed feelings about it. chartreuse is one of my favorite colors, so when i saw this thread i grabbed it. but compiled together as i wanted it to be, it looks like a combination of oscar the grouch and moss.
any thoughts?
my next pieces will definitely be moving away from this color..
im also thinking of adding spots of another color thread to it. either a yellow or a blue..

I love the wildness of it--very free. Moss does creep everywhere so maybe that's the way it should be. Also moss creeps on solid objects to obscure them. Maybe the edges of some solid forms could start peeping out. I think a contrast with form/element/color could add an intriguing aspect to these neck pieces....
