mink?

this ring was made on a whim about a week ago. it is very simple for me, but it works. i know people are not crazy about the shank, and i know why, but its my signature ring shank. it sits wonderfully on the hand. exciting!

the next step was the electroforming bath. plating the resin in copper in specific places where i apply the "electro dag". the electrical current running through the bath pulls copper from large chunks of copper, called anodes, and deposits it onto my piece where i painted the dag on.

over winter session, i started to investigate slightly new forms, still casting the resin, but going back in and re-coating them in resin and starting to build them up together. these are the first stages.
